Inspect parts. Help with the design of jigs and fixtures for a safe and efficient operation.Safety is #1 at BTDOur expectation is that every employee: 1) Strictly follows safety policies, rules and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. Promptly reports injuries for prompt diagnosis and treatment. 3) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.Essential FunctionsAbility to visualize and interpret blueprints and sketches.Manufacture quality parts by referring to the pattern, and paperwork.Ability to use the basic inspection equipment (calipers, height gauge, etc.) to be able to inspect parts being produced by the individual.Ability to produce quality welds with the settings the cell was set up with.Ability to adjust to changes in production requirements.Ability to acknowledge problems with the welder and be able to get the correct individual involved.Maintain a clean and safe work area by following the clean-up schedule.Must be able to use the computer software to clock in and out of work and in/out of jobs along with checking job count.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesGraduation from high school or equivalent.Experience and Skills RequiredAbility to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.Knowledge of basic Welding.Basic knowledge of a Welder #2.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
